Gilly Avengers PowerPoint

Today, we were tasked with creating a powerpoint on a film of our choosing.

In this PowerPoint we are to include details on the film, Budget, Box office, cast crew, production company and other Interesting details that we could include into our PowerPoint.

I chose to make my PowerPoint on Avengers: Infinity War.
For a lot of my research I used IMDB, Wikipedia and google. I mainly tried to use IMDB for my research since that was tasked to be our main source of research for our PowerPoint task.

MLG Promotional Video, Neil

Today I've finished up the editing for the short Promotional video that we worked on for Neil so we can get used to Premiere Pro.

I've uploaded it as an Unlisted video to my YouTube channel.

The editing techniques I used to create this short video were as following:

Cutting and arranging clips together.
Adding images (Hit marker)
Sound effects (hit marker song)
I added green screen clips to the video also (MLG clips, Scarce)
Gathering and arranging audio clips (theme music, MLG kid screaming)

I also used the rotation, scale and position tool for a couple of scenes.

Due to this being a short project that was just meant to be a "promotional" video for Neil and me and a few others in my group did the same thing last year, we checked with Neil if we could mix it up a little and just make it a random video. Neil said as long as it gives us a chance to play around with Premiere pro and you make it work, then he doesn't see a problem with it.

Why So Serious???

It has been nearly 11 years since the iconic actor Heath Ledger died from an accidental overdose just before the release of his legendary role as the Joker in 2008’s The Dark Knight.

Heath has gone down as one of the best actors to play the role of Joker due to his unique preparations for the role by locking himself in a hotel room alone in London for about a month and forming a little diary with all his “crazy” thoughts whilst he was in isolation.

Sadly, Heath didn’t get to see the final piece of the character he developed as he died of an accidental drug overdose just 5 months before The Dark Knight film was released.

To this day Heath Ledger’s Joker is still talked about and is always mentioned across the film industry.

Netflix Adding Ad’s in their Original Series’???

Major rumors have come to light that the popular online streaming website Netflix will be adding mid show/film ad breaks to show off their Netflix original films and TV programs.

On Friday August 17th, a spokesperson for Netflix said that they were testing if surfacing recommendations between episodes helps members discover films/tv shows that could enjoy faster, but they aren’t putting video advertisements that pause what you’re currently watching and that viewers would be able to skip a video preview at the end of what they’re watching at any time if they’re not interested
